In the spring of 2014, Nordisk Hjälp started a two-year project in the Ein El Helweh refugee camp in Lebanon.
The project is called “Rekreation” and is about increasing the competence of school staff and others who work with children, in matters relating to children’s free time, with play, sports, excursions, pedagogy, etc. In addition to this, work must also be done to spread knowledge about the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, with lectures and meetings.
The project is not least important for raising motivation in children towards education and reduces dropouts from school.
The project is financed by SIDA and Nordisk Hjälp.
