Nordic Aid has successfully completed a major relief operation in the Gaza Strip by transporting 24 trucks loaded with emergency aid through the Rafah Crossing. The operation included nine trucks of flour, five trucks of food parcels, three trucks of food supplies and seven trucks of drinking water.

Over the past months, the Nordic Aid team on the ground in the Gaza Strip has distributed food, health and financial aid, as well as provided blankets, tents, meals, meat portions and child-related items, based on the resources available locally.

The President of the organization highlights that Nordic Help has focused its work on supporting women and children in the Gaza Strip. In addition, the organization's offices in the area have immediately provided some medical assistance to local hospitals and procured emergency aid from local markets in anticipation of further aid shipments via the Rafah Crossing.

It is stressed that families in the Gaza Strip are facing extremely difficult conditions, especially in view of the widespread destruction of infrastructure, particularly in the health sector. The need for relief efforts is critical to alleviate the dire living conditions of the region's inhabitants.

So far, Nordic Aid has managed to transport 24 trucks loaded with aid, distributed around 270 tons of flour, approximately 6,000 food parcels and over 316,000 bottles of drinking water through trucks passing the Rafah Crossing.

Additional trucks with relief supplies are currently being prepared in Cairo, and several trucks are awaiting authorization to pass through the Rafah Crossing. The organization's team in Cairo has also provided immediate financial assistance to injured people and students from the Gaza Strip currently in Egypt.

In conclusion, Nordic Aid continues its relief campaign in the Gaza Strip, which includes immediate food and medical assistance to the region's residents.
